My personal advice is to allow your bath to drain after your detox bath, do not swish the water, just let it drain. After a day or so the bentonite clay will be dry and using a plastic scraper scrape up the clay into a heap and then bin it or vacuum it up. What you don't want is to swish the clay down the drain. The clay has a tendency to sink to the bottom of the bath, so pull the plug after an hour or so to allow the clay to settle and collect in the bottom of the bath, then pull the plug. In my experience the clay stays at the bottom of the bath.
