Have you ever wondered if sublimation printing works on the edges of a book? Spoiler: it absolutely does — and in this video, I’m showing you exactly how it turned out!

Now, full transparency — I didn’t sand the edges perfectly for this trial run (the book has a slight U-shape curve, and I skipped the prep), so it’s not flawless. BUT that’s the beauty of experimenting, right? Even without perfect conditions, the design transferred really well.

You can use sublimation ink and paper to print your own designs, or do what I did and buy pre-printed sublimation sheets. I chose a set with dreamy night sky patterns to test how they would look — and honestly? Stunning. And yes, you can order custom designs too, just send in your photo!
