DIY Spare Room Projects, wacky weather and wildlife

The weekend started with unusual rain, which split up raining only on one part of my yard! Then later, Dave’s cousins came over for some fishing and to check out our wildlife. They saw possums, snakes fish and spiders, and even a couple of spiders around the house! We enjoyed some ice cream cake and had a light dinner of grilled ham and cheese. Later that week I decided to finally work on redoing the spare rooms. First by repainting the sitting room, which had an all blue wall color. Dave liked the blue but our son suggested a more neutral color. So we compromised by leaving one wall blue and the rest a neutral greige. After completing the sitting room project, the spare junk room was next. It was cluttered and messy so I unpacked the rest of our boxes in our junk room, hung the last of our pictures there and turned that room into a nice gym/music room. We also found cool patio furniture at Lowe's so we replaced our old worn out patio furniture with the new set.
