Live From The Bunker 873: Has STAR TREK Gotten Dumber? Plus: is ACADEMY Cancelled Already?

The interwebs are abuzz with chatter about a new analysis of STAR TREK and the "intellectual integrity" of the Kurtzman era vs previous incarnations going all the way back to 1966 -- including the animated shows. Alvaro Zinos-Amaro has taken a stab at some statistical analysis, and what he's found should be no surprise to anyone: current TREK is less intellectual (read that "dumbed down"?) compared to the Roddenberry and Berman eras.
