Zai was born from the vision of creating skis that let you carve your own line through the mountain: fluid, instinctive, and free. Since 2003, Zai has pursued a single idea: to design and manufacture skis that unlock a new kind of movement and a deeper sense of freedom in snow - like the flight of jackdaws in alpine skies.

From their workshop in Spreitenbach, near Zurich, zai continues to explore new forms, materials, and production methods. Exceptional elements like green slate, rofna-porphyry-gneiss, vulcanised natural rubber, and their proprietary carbon-fibre composite zai’ra® are integrated into every ski.
Each model reflects a balance of raw nature, precision engineering, and minimalist design.
