Let's continue our discussion of how insulin resistance is correlated with different GI, Liver, Gallbladder and Kidney issues.

We will discuss reflux, GERD and gastroparesis. Our GI system has peristaltic contractions that moves food through the entire GI system. These contractions are normal and play a key role. If they slow down or stop completely, it will lead to some issues.

The Liver and Gallbladder play a role in digestion. They help with digesting fat. The gallbladder also contracts. These contractions are not peristaltic contractions, but I try to relate the two during the video to emphasize how important these contractions are.

I hope you enjoy this video. Please let me know of any topics you want discussed. You can leave a comment to let me know. We will be moving on to discuss what causes insulin resistance and what we can do about it soon.
