Loni Anderson, the Emmy- and Golden Globe–nominated actress best known for playing Jennifer Marlowe on WKRP in Cincinnati (1978–1982), passed away on August 3, 2025 at age 79, just days shy of her 80th birthday. She died in a Los Angeles hospital after a prolonged illness, surrounded by family. Anderson rose to fame as the smart and glamorous receptionist at a struggling Cincinnati radio station. Off screen, her high-profile marriage to Burt Reynolds and her candid 1995 memoir My Life in High Heels drew widespread attention. She is survived by husband Bob Flick, her children, grandchildren, and extended family. A private service will be held at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
