AR-0178: After the demise of the legendary PM Entertainment, filmmaker Richard Pepin made at least a couple more films before retiring from the biz, this 2006 Eastern European production being his last film to date.

An experienced adventurer and his family get roped into guiding some Eurotrash thugs into an old abandoned salt mine with a nasty reputation to look for some massive emeralds in a secret cache that was discovered only on the last day the mine was in operation...

...turns out the ghost stories surrounding the mine turn out to be true as the mine is home to a hive of killer giant beetles the size of a small car...

A cheap and forgettable horror B-grader, far from the better quality of Pepin's PM works.

My Grade: D+ [Disappointing]
