Home of Lydia the seller of purple fabrics. The prophetess "Jezebel" was leading some in the church into immorality and eating things sacrificed to idols. Jesus in His long suffering love gives them time to repent. Those that refuse will suffer great tribulation. Yet to those who keep His deeds, He will give authority over the nations.
