A solo Let's Play done by Ramsis (along with TheVespor doing commentary during the playthrough) as we showcase the first in our 16-Bit Wrestling Video Game Retrospective. Game number 5 is WWF Royal Rumble for both the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis. Yes we play both editions for this review as there are enough differences between both versions to showcase them separately. Does more mean better? Well .. that's what you have to tune in to find out, isn't it?

Made by LJN so that should give you a clue to how great the game is. But it also has some great things that improve over the previous years NES wrestling based games. You can select from a host of popular early 90s wrestlers at the time like: The Immortal Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, IRS, Ric Flair, Lex Lugar, Bret Hart, Razor Ramon, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and The Model Rick Martel. Not that there is any real difference on who you choose but at least it looks like them, for the most part. And they all have their iconic entrance themes that you can hear. But this time they do all have signature moves in BOTH versions of the game. So that as well as their entrance themes do make them unique to play as .. at least.

We found 12, yes 12, 16-Bit Wrestling Video Games to showcase during our Season 5 retrospective and this is going to be a ride in the ring you definitely don't want to miss and won't forget. For both good and bad reasons. But that's how it usually is in these looking back on games from the present.

So sit back, relax, say your prayers and take your vitamins. Become the cream of the crop. The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be! And what a set of games we have for you this season. You know em! You remember em! You love em? It's the wrestling retrospective you know you have been waiting for.
