Aug. 3, 2025 - "Why Should I Go to Church?" - Ephesians 4:7-16

We learn all about the Church today. In America and the West, the word 'church' means many different things. In the Bible, the word 'Church' is the whole purpose Jesus came and died and rose! He formed His church, a body of believers under His Lordship. It is worldwide, and it is unified the 9 essential teachings of historic orthodox Christianity, that C.S. Lewis called, "Mere Christianity" in his excellent book. How does the Lord build His church? when we are Born-Again we are "baptized into His Body, the Church" by the Holy Spirit. One's relationship to the church is also evidence of one's spiritual maturity level.
