Battlefield 6 (also referred simply as Battlefield) delivers a Return‑to‑Form military‑shooter experience. Set in the year 2027, players join elite Marine Raider unit Dagger 1‑3 in a global war against Pax Armata, a powerful private military corporation formed from nations that have defected from NATO.

The single-player campaign takes you through dramatic battles—from the Sahara deserts, to Gibraltar, all the way to New York City—including a surprise assault on Brooklyn. Pax Armata’s mission: dismantle NATO's grip and reshape the global order. The campaign is expected to run about six hours.

The classic large-scale Battlefield multiplayer returns with up to 64-player matches across 9 launch maps, including new locales like Empire State, Siege of Cairo, Gibraltar, and a remastered Operation Firestorm from Battlefield 3.

Core modes such as Conquest, Breakthrough, and Rush are back, alongside new additions like Escalation, plus faster modes including Domination, King of the Hill, and Team/Squad Deathmatch.

The beloved four‑class system returns—Assault, Engineer, Support, Recon—each with signature weapons, gadgets, and role‑specific bonuses. Weapon customization includes an attachment meter system, balancing power and flexibility.

Destructible environments are back and more refined: structures fall dynamically according to their support integrity ("Tactical Destruction"), though key map elements remain protected for balance.
