(RAD: Trump's behavior is helping accelerate more & more countries joining BRICS. His bully tactics that including verbal bullying, high tariffs & sanctions aren't working. Trump doesn't believe in win-win cooperation. His bully approaches are "I win" and "you lose", which others don't like.

Initially he sold the idea of high tariffs as a way to bring manufacturing back into our country. BUT this is now impossible for a lot of reasons. First, we don't have an adequate electric power grid that can support more manufacturing. Our power grid is already maxed out and hasn't added any significant capacity in the past 25 years. Even if you wanted to build a new factory that required a reasonable amount of electric power, you can't purchase the necessary large transformers, electric panels, copper wire & other subsystems necessary to even begin building. The lead times are measured in years, plus Trump has imposed high tariffs on countries that can supply these systems.

Mike gives a personal example of how difficult & expensive it has been to expand his business because of the high tariffs and other restrictions imposed by Trump. In effect, Trump has created an embargo against the US with his high tariffs & sanctions and we don't have adequate internal alternatives. Trump has put the US on a path of total collapse.
