Oh No! A Power Outage!

Is your church boring? Is your church slowly dying off? Do you rarely see any visitors?

The reason may be that it is experiencing a Power Outage. A Holy Spirit Power Outage. Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to give His Church Power. Yet, very few Churches or Christians today show any signs of having this power. And unless we get it back, we are never going to truly grow or accomplish our Mission, to be Witnesses for Jesus.

Join Conversations With The Evangelist for the first part of a Two-Part Conversations on what is lacking in the Modern Church and how we can get back to what it should be. This week, "Oh No! A Power Outage!" and next week we will discuss "The Rock Star Church". Neither one is what Jesus wants or intends for us to be.

Yet, the vast majority of Modern American Churches seem to fall into one of those two categories. Let's stop that and become a Holy Spirit empowered and led Church instead.
