Glamping?....."Hated It!" (A yuppies point of view. Part Two)

If you’re not a fan of camping, glamping at the Desert of Maine might not win you over. We stayed in one of their charming-looking cabins—no bathroom included—which meant late-night uphill hikes to the public bath house that were more terrifying than rustic. Sure, there’s a bed and four walls, but you’re still battling bugs, boredom, and inconvenience at a price point that doesn’t quite justify the trade-offs. That said, the actual Desert of Maine attraction is quirky and fun, and the mini golf and kid-friendly trails add value for families. But unless you genuinely like camping in any form, you might want to spend your weekend (and your money) elsewhere.
