Friday was Day 1 of the Stock Market Crash as we saw Trump exposed for lying about the economy. Why did the stock market go down today? In the stock market news today, it was discovered that the US Government has been lying to us since at least January 2025 when they tried to quietly revise the US jobs employment data downward by 90%. Since the beginning of the year, President Trump has been telling us that the economy is strong and that the job market is also strong. And when that was exposed as a lie on Friday, it triggered a stock market crash as investors came to the reality that a recession is most likely starting. It should be noted that this might just be a stock market correction, although this stock market correction could also turn into a stock market crash. Donald Trump responded to the stock market crash by firing the US Bureau of Labor Statistics' Commissioner of Labor Statistics Dr. Erika McEntarfer, and blaming her for lying to the American people.
