COONS: “Good to be on with you.”

BREAM: “Steve Witkoff on the ground give the president a report at the president’s direction ambassador huckabee there to Israel and I met yesterday with Israeli officials to discuss the humanitarian situation in Gaza. Today, we spent over five hours inside Gaza, level setting the facts on the ground, assessing conditions and meeting with the Gaza humanitarian foundation and other agencies. The purpose is to give the president a clear understanding what is going on there. We understand those reports are now going back to the White House. In your estimation, what can be donti moment it?”

COONS: “Is urgent that Israel allow in more humanitarian aid and work with trusted partners like world central kitchen or unicef or the world food program. I’m glad Steve Witkoff is there. I’m glad President Trump has expressed concern about the starvation, the widespread hunger in Gaza. Now it’s time for us to act. 44 Democratic senators and I joined together in sending a strong letter this past week urging President Trump to use America’s influence, to open the gates to Gaza and to deliver food for hungry children. It bears repeating that if Hamas would lay down its arms and release the hostages, this fighting, this situation could end immediately. But, Israel is in control of Gaza, and they also bear responsibility for addressing the hunger and humanitarian crisis there.”
