Presentation of the updated Il-114-300 at Koltsovo to Mikhail Mishustin.

As reported by PJSC UAC General Director Vadim Badekha, the aircraft was created specifically for local airlines, with the possibility of operating in hard-to-reach regions with weak airport infrastructure, on short and unpaved runways, and in low temperatures.

The aircraft, during testing, made a flight from Moscow to Ekaterinburg. It showed good results in terms of fuel efficiency.
It is expected that the Il-114-300 will replace on domestic airlines the old An-24, as well as foreign-made aircraft of a similar class.
The modernized version is assembled with Russian-made components and is equipped with Russian systems and equipment. In total, over 180 flights have been performed on two prototypes within the flight test program.

The cruise speed of the updated Il-114-300 is 450-500 km/h, and the maximum flight altitude is 7,600 meters. Passenger capacity is up to 68 people.
Currently the aircraft is undergoing certification. Obtaining the certificate and launching serial production of the aircraft is planned for December 2025.

The modernization and resumption of serial production of the regional passenger aircraft Il-114-300 is underway at the behest of the Russian President.
