Hera CQR Buttstock in Tan (Gen 1.0)

Swapped out the stock on my AR‑15 with this German‑made flat dark earth piece—it’s sleek, lightweight, and built for control. Compatible with mil‑spec carbine buffer tubes and stays under 17 oz.

Why I’m into it:
• Fixed 9″ length of pull, with optional spacers if you want more reach
• Shock‑absorbing rubber buttpad for consistent weld and recoil control
• Ambi sling web slots and QD mount built in—great for field setups or compliance builds
• Tan finish hides wear and blends into desert/urban builds
• Made in Lower Franconia, Germany—premium polymer build with real durability

Heads-up on quirks:
Some folks with bigger hands reported that the grip can feel tight—trigger finger stretching into the guard, or thumb struggle when using safety selector. If you shoot long and your hands are above average size, you might feel it.

Is it Gen 2? Nope—this is Gen 1.0. If you’re after a longer pull length (11”) or more ergonomic tweaks (thumb‑hole grip, better shoulder rest), look into Gen 2—but this OG still nails the basics.

Final thoughts:
This stock is ideal if you’re building a featureless CA‑compliant rifle or just want a compact, stable, tactical look. It’s light, snappy, and cool without being gimmicky. If you want to pair it with the matching front grip or upgrade to Gen 2, I can help break that down too.
