Watch us do our part in saving wildlife during the Sand Fire.

Tens of thousands of acres of wildlife habitat and animals were being destroyed during the Sand fire and others. Every minute saved is lives saved and animals not tortured and burned to death. With urgency I implored the Forest Service to use our water to save those lives and habitats. After the fire was knocked down five says later I got a citation form the incident commander thank us for the water. He said we saved thens of thousands of acres of habitat and ... as many as 200 homes in Acton! That last part floored me. The fire was that close to us.
