In a series of public statements and a social media post, Donald Trump has urged Americans to "Join ICE now." The call to action is part of a broader push to expand immigration enforcement and meet the administration's goal of conducting mass deportations.

The message, which was shared on Truth Social, praised Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents as "brave" for their work in removing what he described as "the WORST of the WORST Criminals." He promised that those who join the agency would be "taken care of."

This recruitment drive is backed by a significant increase in funding for ICE, with a new bill allocating a record amount for immigration enforcement. The Department of Homeland Security has launched a nationwide campaign, complete with a "$50,000 signing bonus" and patriotic posters, to attract new recruits and help the agency hire thousands of new deportation officers, investigators, and lawyers.
