(It is widely understood that the $dollar is collapsing and that the $dollar is losing its reserve currency status. The current US federal debt is far too high and it is mathematically impossible to sustain. The big question: will the US financial system collapse catastrophically, or are there ways to resolve this huge problem with some sort of soft landing?

Both Andy Schectman & Mike Adams have an in depth understanding of the problems and have been exploring possible solutions. They have also been drawing on other experts.

They also explore the progress & implications of what the BRICS nations are developing, which is independent of the $dollar & the SWIFT system that the US has weaponized. Systems are already in place that provide quick settlements using national currencies that bypass the $dollar.

Both Andy & Mike agree that to continue holding our financial assets in $dollar backed investments is very risky and could result it being wiped out. Precious metals like gold, silver, & platinum could help weather the turbulent times ahead.

They discussed how Trump might be using high tariffs to help bring critical manufacturing back to the US. Our electric grid is already maxed out. Capacity hasn't increased in the last 25 years. This makes it difficult to build out major new manufacturing and to build new computer centers to support advanced AI that requires a lot of electricity. Adding needed significant electric generation capacity could take many years.

Allow me to identify another challenge that neither Andy or Mike addressed. Since a lot of skilled manufacturing sectors have been lost, we no longer have the needed skills. We are also not graduating enough Masters & PhD level people in engineering, physics, chemistry, math and related skills to build and maintain many of these advanced manufacturing capabilities that China & other countries already have and the necessary supply chains.

The challenges in front of us are massive. We need to acknowledge these challenges and identify the most critical ones to focus on and marshal the resources that can make a difference.
