Are We Slaves To Technology

Modern technology has had a profound influence both positively and negatively on humanity, especially A.I. technology. A.I. has been integrated into nearly every part of our society from our communication to our security, the way our society runs as well as our own freedom. My question is, "Are We Slaves to Technology yet?" Or are we in danger of enslavement in the future?
