AM Session: Lower Body Hypertrophy Focus

Here is another lower body workout. This workout is definitely focused on hypertrophy and is skewed a little bit towards the strength side. The other lower body workout I do is hypertrophy focused as well, but the reps are higher and it is not as strength focused.

I am still pacing myself and gradually building up. Otherwise, I am going to be sore for a few weeks and unable to walk. That's not fun! So there are some tips on how to work your way into exercising or into new exercises. Soreness normally occurs when you first start to exercise or when you perform an exercise that is new to you.

You will see some of the differences in how exercises are performed when hypertrophy is the focus rather than training for sport. I will put a card in the video (YouTube) that links to a lower body session focused more on training for sprinting.
