I think Colonel Wilkerson has underestimated the situation. It is not Israel that is discredited. It is the entire world, and every single government in the world, including the United Nations. What is most sickening is hearing all the lamentations, as absolutely nothing happens? It is the "nothing" that is worthy of great attention, not the utterly useless lamentations. There are some who are wondering why Carney came out with this proposal of recognizing a Palestinian state just days before the deadline for the tariff talks to end (one way or another). They argue he should have waited until after the talks were over, but it's possible he didn't as part of a careful political calculus. It isn't inconceivable Carney is of the opinion the negotiations are not going to result in a deal Canada can accept...ever. Consequently, declaring recognition of a Palestinian state may have been done precisely because Carney knew how Trump would react and how Trump would use this as an excuse to walk away from negotiations with Canada. In this way the failure is all on Trump, because at this point in time Canadians (myself included) are certainly in no mood to abide having the president of the United States acting as if we are one of his states or (at the very least) a vassal state whose foreign policy he believes he has the right to dictate.

When you realize that all these "deals" to sell US energy to Japan and the EU can never be met by US production and you look at the energy market in North America now, the only reason that the US can be a significant net exporter of Energy is because of Canada and Mexico.

Perfect example is LNG. Canada ships 3 trillion cubic feet to the US annually. The US exports 4 trillion cubic feet annually. Also note that world LNG prices vary between 50% to 100% higher than North American prices. In other words, the US essentially buys LNG from Canada then doubles the price and sells it to Europe or Asia. Something similar is happening with oil.

I'm other words this repackaging of Canadian energy is worth $30 to $40 billion dollars of easy money for the US.

With Canada's new and planned pipelines, the US is on the verge of losing this free money.

There is absolutely no way the US is going to allow this to happen. That's why they want to destroy Canada economically and seize control of its resources.

The US has been ripping off Canada for decades and they just can't give up that cash cow.
