Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is a fighting action-adventure video game co-developed by CyberConnect2 Co., Ltd and Arc System Works, and a sequel to the first game released in 2021. Based on the 2019 anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotoge's Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga series, it is the third Demon Slayer game to be released. The game will be released by Aniplex in Japan and globally by Sega for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Steam and for the Nintendo Switch on August 5, 2025. Solo Play Mode's plot is based on the second, third and fourth seasons of the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime series.The story features some exploration elements, and is told through various cutscenes and boss battles with demons seen in the anime series. Versus Mode allows players to form teams of two fighters from 40 different characters and battle CPU opponents or other people. The game supports both local and online multiplayer.

The story takes place in Taishō-era Japan. It follows Tanjiro Kamado and his sister Nezuko Kamado as they seek a cure for Nezuko's demon curse. Tanjiro and Nezuko become entangled in the affairs of a secret society, known as the Demon Slayer Corps, that has been waging a secret war against demons for centuries. The demons are former humans who sold their humanity in exchange for power, and they feed on humans and possess supernatural abilities such as super strength, magic, and regeneration.
