Vague, Wrong, and Dangerous: Joseph Z’s Prophetic Record Exposed

Joseph Z is not a prophet—he’s a spiritual opportunist who twists Scripture, manipulates emotion, and uses fear to sell books. In this exposé, I respond directly to one of his latest videos where he mumbles a vague “prophetic word” about Alaska—right before cutting to a breaking news clip about an earthquake that had already happened. This isn’t prophecy. This is shameless headline-chasing dressed up as revelation.

“I keep hearing Alaska… I see waves hitting the coasts…”

Then immediately: a news anchor reporting a quake off the coast of Russia and a tsunami watch for Alaska. This is not prophetic foresight—it’s after-the-fact spiritual clickbait. It's ludicrous, and it should offend anyone who actually fears the Lord and respects the Word of God.

But this is exactly what Joseph Z does. His entire ministry is built on false prophecy, spiritual theatrics, and twisted doctrine. From claiming his wife went to heaven after breaking her neck, to teaching that angels are activated by your words, to saying we can alter time and seasons through prayer, this man is in direct contradiction to the Bible on nearly every front.

He’s selling books. He’s pushing conferences. He’s begging for partnerships. But what he’s offering is not the gospel. It’s manipulation. It’s error. It’s a circus—and it’s pulling thousands away from the simplicity of Christ.

The Bible makes it clear: if someone speaks falsely in the name of the Lord, they are not sent by God (Deut. 18:20–22). Joseph Z is a false prophet, and it’s time the Church stops tolerating this kind of deception in the name of “encouragement.”
