Mysteries of the Bible....

There are a number of mysteries in the bible which are never explained. If you've been watching any of the previous videos and reading the essays below-
you may realize the LORD does nothing haphazardly. Everything has purpose, nothing is out of place. And besides just the straight words on the page (and all the meanings and deeper meaning THOSE convey!), for those who SEEK...
there are treasures within treasures. Like nesting dolls, but instead of just finding another doll, there are deeper lessons to be gained.
Think "pardes," the walk through the orchards of the Lord.
mentioned here in case you missed what the heck I am talking about:

(Link to the video and essay on what the heck "pardes" means?!)

*It is just my opinion/thought process but in a metaphysical, quantum mechanics, singularity sort of hippy-dippy way which transcends time and space the discovery of these deeper mysteries can change us, alter us forever-
our faith that is.
Don't get me wrong, nothing more than the gospel of the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ's offer of salvation for sinners (like myself) is needed. That's so much of the beauty of it.

The message on the surface is the critical one.
Take the offer of peace God, Yaweh has extended to the world...
and salvation through Jesus Christ, follow Him and repent of our sins (which means not just feeling bad about it, but turning from them, and if struggling CONTINUE to turn from them - some things are easy, some are harder), and salvation is yours!
Hallelujah!!

But besides just the learning, and researching, and studying other parts of The Word of God in your search to answer mysteries never explicitly addressed, and all the knowledge just FROM THE SEARCH ITSELF-
A REAL relationship forms just between you and the LORD.
If Jesus Christ IS The Word of God - and you are in "the word" - then it is flowing through you.
Stay with me here - Jesus Christ IS the Word of God-

«In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.»
John 1:1-3

The word goes into your brain, your soul - both the physical and non-physical that makes you, YOU. Your blood is constantly flowing all throughout your body to include the brain, many times a day.
Ergo- your blood comes into SOME KIND of contact with the Word of God. It then carries itself all throughout your body once again to complete it's course. Over and over again. For life is in the blood-

«For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.»
Leviticus 17:11

YET- just before this verse the Word of God says in Leviticus:
«And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.»
Leviticus 17:10

Now in the New Testament Jesus says THIS!

«Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.»
John 6:53-56

So on one hand you cannot consume blood- and on the other you are told to consume the blood (and flesh) of Jesus Christ, Yeshua...
And Yeshua IS the Word of God.

-Jeeze I haven't even gotten to the mysteries yet...And I have two I have been mulling over, well maybe 3.
Consuming the Word changes a person. It changes you both physically, and spiritually.
AND SO- onto something for you to chew on...

Why does Eve add "or touch it" regarding the tree of the knowledge of good and evil when conversing with the serpent?

«Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.»
Genesis 3:1-3

Why? Why did she add that? (*Also anecdotally notice the numbers we all know are VERY important Gen THREE : 1,2,and 3, just sayin')

And another mystery of the bible I have oft pondered and will now unload on YOUR noodle...why is the young man in ANOTHER garden far in the future, in the New Testament who's robe is torn off in the night at the arrest of Yeshua?

«And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.»
Mark 14:32

I am skipping but you should go back and CONSUME the whole arrest of Yeshua at Gethsemane.

«And they all forsook him, and fled. And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him: And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.»
Mark 14:50-52

Who? Who is this person? And WHY? It is never expressly answered. Never mentioned again. But on this one I will tell you some thoughts I have had on the subject-
I think it is Mark. I think this is where Mark becomes MARK. The Garden of Gethsemane is mentioned in Matthew, John, and Mark. John was there, Matthew was the short-hand apostle stenographer...Why Mark went into such detail? Because he was the one watching on. And as one apostle fell (Judas), another was immediately created.
Luke, also not there, yet has an account of it. My understanding is that Luke worked closely with Peter.
**Correction - Mark worked closely with Peter (which makes more sense, and Luke worked closely with Paul!

Another thought for you to consider- it's not Mark. But what IS provided here is the linen robe necessary for Jesus' soon to be burial. Like the donkey's provided Jesus for His entrance into Jerusalem on Passover, it is simply provided by God.

And a third....it is both. Mark is there witnessing in the shadows the arrest of Yeshua and the fullness of the betrayal of Judas. He is or converted (or maybe previously converted). His robe is stripped from him fleeing into the night AND is used in Jesus' burial (or maybe not). However God implicitly states it is a "linen" robe....
JUST SAYIN' haha
Let those kick around your noodle for a while :)

Ok one more- it's too appropriate with all the garden's today, and the serpent. And the crucifixion of Christ.
BACK to Eve and the Garden of Eden-

After Adam and Eve and the serpent are confronted of God, the Lord declares to the serpent-

«And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.»
Genesis 3:14-15

Jesus' crucifixion involved 3 nails - the wrists or hands and one through both feet- the heel. That way it was VERY difficult to push up from the legs to alleviate the suffocating force on the lungs from the outstretched arms. The Romans were masters of torture. Christ's heels were bruised.

The place where He was crucified was called Golgatha. It looks like a skull. The translation of Golgatha literally means skull. So while the seed of the woman (Eve, Mary, virgin birth) heels are being "bruised," due to the machinations of Satan and the culmination of his plan to wipe out messiah....
a gigantic staked tree or pole is being driven into the "skull' of the place of crucifixion.

Also by the bye - they say Golgatha is 777 meters above sea level....
And is the probable sight of where Abraham was to sacrifice Isaac in the Akedah...
AGAIN JUST
SAYIN'...
it is not possible to outwit God.
Stay on the way, stay on the path.
God's got this-

May the Lord God bless you mightily-
they can only take your body,
everything else is up to you (and I)
