Get ready for a mild and windy day with areas of rain. Folks farther north that have some snow to start will see this change over to rain as we head through the morning. Highs will top out in the low-40s, but the temps will oddly continue to rise as we head through the night. Areas of light rain will continue in the evening tonight before a bit of a lull late. It's going to be a warm night with temps in the mid- to upper 40s! Then as the storm moves out of the area Friday, and rain will turn back to some lingering snow with some minor accumulation in spots by the end of the day. Morning highs will will be in the 40s before falling in the low-30s by late afternoon. Those falling temps may cause a few problems going into Friday night with that water, or bit of snow accumulation, sitting around and then freezing going into the night. That could create some slippery roads. Colder weather returns over the weekend with temperatures topping out in the mid-20s on Saturday. The wind will pick up on Sunday, but it will bring some milder temps in the mid-30s with some sun. It really gets colder by next Tuesday with temps not making it out of the teens for highs. Welcome to January!! A frontal boundary on Monday afternoon through Tuesday could bring us some mix or snow shower activity. Too early to make any exact calls on that system.
