Resident Evil 7 - Part 18

Jack was very intimidating as an antagonist before and during your fight with him. Margaurite wasn't very intimidating, but she's way more unsettling during your fight with her. Bloated body, long slender man arms, crawling around the walls in and out of holes like a bug... disgusting.

Game design wise I appreciate that this fight feels different than your encounter with Jack. The premise is still the same (shoot her as much as possible), but it feels like more of a game of cat and mouse. Except this mouse has a grenade launcher.

Like the Jack fight, you are prepared for this encounter well before you start the battle. The big bugs flying around, as well as enemies dropping in from unexpected places and angles is all very familiar. Now it's time to put those skills to the test. This is one of the few bosses that I didn't die at, but it was really close.
