Chileans Calmly Evacuate The Coast Of Iquique Due To Possible Tsunami Threat

The calm in northern Chile was disturbed this morning by sirens that went off in cities such as Arica, Parinacota, Tarapaca and Iquique after a strong earthquake with a magnitude of M8.8 in the Pacific Ocean (Kamchatka, Russia).
Tsunami warnings were issued throughout the region.
