Big Timber is back at the range with his collaboration PRS rifle. A Bergara Custom Shop barreled action chambered in 6mm GT, dropped into an MDT JAE-G5 chassis, fitted with a Timney Trigger CE 70 2-stage trigger, and topped with a Nightforce NX8 4-32X scope. Today's range session was made possible by Hornady donating 6mm GT Match ammo to the Big Timber Lodge. We test out the barrel break-in myths of if proper break-in can increase velocity, and improve accuracy and group sizes. Additionally, Big Timber also tests out a clean barrel vs dirty barrel for accuracy and velocity.
