Brian Walshe lost the Google fight
55
Brian Walshe tried to get his Google search history tossed — the one that includes things like how to dispose of a body and whether you can be charged without one. The judge said no.
She ruled that Walshe gave consent, and the searches were clearly visible. Some things did get suppressed, like tracking data from his mother’s car and older phone records, but the digital evidence the state actually needs? Still in.
No body. No weapon. Just a search trail that doesn’t leave much to the imagination. Trial starts October 20. We’ll be watching.
