🏈 Midtown Shooter ID’d as Former Nationally Ranked Running Back Shane Tamura — Investigators Eye Possible Football Related Motive
The gunman in Monday’s deadly Midtown office building shooting has been identified as Shane Tamura, sources told NBC New York. Investigators are probing whether Tamura specifically targeted the NFL offices located in the building.
Tamura, 42, was a nationally ranked high school running back in 2015, raising the possibility of a football-related motive. The investigation is ongoing.
