‘Cronos: The New Dawn’ - Fall 2025 Release

Cronos: The New Dawn from Bloober Team is looking better and better. Fresh from their Silent Hill 2 remake success, it’s a new IP that combines elements of sci-fi and survival horror with an Eastern European flavor. The new gameplay showcase is dark, creepy, and brutal as the protagonist investigates an area called Sector A-0. It looks like reality itself can be either manipulated, or is being manipulated, and is unstable or coming apart. There is some cryptic dialog as the main character explores the area, and it ends in an explosion of gunfire with some hellish-looking monsters. Fallen enemies need to be burned or they can merge with other monsters and become something you might not be able to deal with.

There are time-traveling elements in the story as you look for time rifts that will translate you to Poland in the 1980s after a cataclysm called The Change. Your mission as a Traveler is to find important people in the past and bring their essences with you into the future. Doing so makes you stronger, but also haunts your suit and affects your sanity.
