On this podcast Rick Hill talks about his journey – that began in 1974 – on his 50-year cancer survivorship. He explained that in 1974 they didn’t have scans and instead they performed an eight-hour surgery to determine where the cancer was in his body. Eight. Hour. Surgery.

He was told he had Stage 3 high-grade lymphatic cancer and that meant the cancer was moving through him like a freight train and every organ in his body would be shutting down and he’d be dead.

He defied the death sentence the Mayo Clinic handed down. Rick talked with patients who were undergoing chemotherapy and asked them, “would you go through this again?” They all said, “no.”
