A Good Man
This song isn’t about just one man.
It’s about any soldier, ..any veteran, who came home carrying more than just memories. It’s about the silent battles faced after the uniforms are folded away, when the mission changes but the instincts remain.
However, the song “A Good Man” was inspired by real-life courage by two retired Marines who, in a moment of chaos and danger, responded without hesitation right here in Traverse City. They lived their training. They stood between harm and innocence. And in doing so, they reminded us that heroism doesn’t disappear when the war ends, it just waits quietly in everyday people.
This song speaks to the complexity of service… the pain, the programming, and the quiet strength that often goes unseen.
It’s a tribute to all those who have served, and to those who, even long after the battlefield, still protect us.
Thank you for watching ..and to all veterans: thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your continued courage.
