Zoom Kick Off Car Meet - Part 2 of 2 - July 26th, 2025

The Zoom Summer Kickoff car meet which was held in a location near College Boulevard and Glenwood Street in Overland Park, Kansas on Saturday, July 26th, 2025.

I drove to the location, but a police officer was sitting in his cruiser, policing the area. Most drivers showing up were discouraged by his presence and would immediately leave. I went over and had a chat with him. He basically said that location was private property and we needed to find a public parking lot to hold the car meet tonight.

I ended up following a few other cars and motorcycles over a few blocks where some of the early birds had already began to congregate in an alternative parking lot. Maybe 50 to 60 cars were already there. The event ended up having a really good turnout, and once evening became dark, some of the kids started getting a little crazy.
