On July 27, 2025, chaos erupted aboard easyJet Flight EZY609 from Luton to Glasgow when a man exited the aircraft toilet shouting “Allahu Akbar” and claimed to have a bomb. Passengers quickly restrained him as the plane made an emergency landing at Glasgow Airport. No bomb was found.
