Name Your Golden Calf -Then Tear It Down

The gospel reading emphasizes the importance of actively engaging with God’s teachings, likening it to tending a garden. Just as weeds naturally grow, evil is deeply embedded in our souls and requires effort to uproot. We must choose between nurturing the virtues God plants in us or allowing the devil’s weeds to choke out our spiritual growth.
