Blind woman says rowing transformed her life

A blind woman has said rowing transformed her life after she developed claustrophobia and couldn't stay inside her own home.

Kathryn Lindgren, 51, developed the phobia of being indoors after a shock discovery at the opticians that her eyes had deteriorated even further.

But she overcame her fears after taking up the water sport - and is now training to compete.
