Self Denial Explained: The Key to Walking in the Spirit (What it means to Deny Yourself)

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. (1Ti 4:12 KJV)

What it means to be an example of believers, In Spirit. I've always wanted to know KNOW what it meant to worship in Spirit, to walk in the Spirit (from the core).

Here it is! We can only serve the Most High GOD in Spirit through complete self denial. Meaning, you have to make the choice to deny your very own desires, emotions/feelings, opinions/thoughts - YOUR HEART and SUBMIT to the Lord of Lords and pursue His will & purpose for you, WILLINGLY! WHOLEHEARTEDLY! This is an ongoing thing for believers, we must literally be LIVING SACRIFICES desiring to please the Father and perform His Will DAILY, NOT GRUDGINGLY, NOT DOUBLEHEARTED!!

SELF can be described as "your" Personality, Character, (EGO/Pride, Old Inner Man, SOUL)

When You Deny Self (EGO/Pride, Old Inner man) making the decision for yourself, in submission to the WORD/Christ - You are making way for the Holy Spirit to Lead in Your Life and to be fashioned in the CHARACTER OF CHRIST!!

IN THE SPIRIT: to be fully submitted to the Divine Authority from a willing heart!

If you are not willing, if you don't put your own self (pride/ego, emotions/feeling, opinions, desires/wants) aside then YOU ARE IN REBELLION! REPENT, SUBMIT SEEK PEACE WITH GOD THROUGH CHRIST!!
