What Does "PF" Mean?-Date: 4/7/2021

In this video I tell you what "PF" stands for and how to resolve it if it occurs.

If you see "PF" in the display, it stands for "Power Failure." These letters will be in your display if your washer lost power for some reason such as if your electric service fails or if the power cord falls out or maybe the circuit breaker tripped or the fuse blew. To resolve it after the power is restored, just press the play/pause button once and the washer should pick up where it left off because the washer retains it's memory for a period of time after the power goes off (I don't know how long that is though.)

I don't know how long the washer will retain it's memory after the power is cut off. But I think the washer would drain itself out and start the wash cycle over again and you would have to put your soap and products back in and run the cycle again. If you hear the washer start to drain after a the power failed, the washer was most likely without power for an extended period of time and forgot where it was. But it should retain the memory that there was a power loss.

Please refer to your owners manual on how your machines behave after a power failure and what to do after the power is restored.

I hope everyone had a great Independence Day/4th. of July.
