misleading visuals

Advertisers often use misleading visuals to make products seem more appealing, high-quality, or effective than they actually are. This tactic involves showcasing ingredients or materials that are either exaggerated or entirely absent in the final product.
For instance, a fast-food advertisement might depict a burger with crisp lettuce and fresh tomatoes, while the actual item features wilted greens and processed toppings. Likewise, a beauty brand may promote a skincare product as infused with premium ingredients like caviar or gold, even though these components are present in only trace amounts—or not at all.
