Using the Permanent Press Cycle (Perm. Press)-Date: 1/23/2021

In this video I show you the Permanent Press cycle ("Perm. Press" is what is actually next to the selector knob) in real time. I don't know much about this cycle or why washers have it. But since it does, I wanted to make a video with this small load so you can see how it runs. I only used this cycle one other time just to see how it worked and ended up with half of the laundry unwashed because some of it was still dry causing me to have to run it again. This load was small enough for it to wash OK. In my opinion the Normal and Heavy Duty wash cycles are basically the same with the exception that it is a shorter cycle.

I know some clothing and other items tell you to wash those on this cycle. But I don't know what the benefit is. Maybe someone can tell us what this cycle is meant for down in the comments section.
