Jay Leno CALLS OUT Late Night Hosts for Being Too Political and NOT FUNNY

Comments are coming out from former Tonight Show host Jay Leno about the nature of current late night hosts and how they have alienated half of their audience by being too political.

These comments from Jay Leno are coming out after the announcement that Stephen Colbert is being canceled for financial reasons, but Leno made the comments before the announcement was made. Jay Leno’s remarks should be obvious to any sensible person that you don’t risk alienating a large portion of your audience if you need that audience to make money. Stephen Colbert’s show reportedly employed 200 people and operated at an annual $40 million loss. It seems he was cut in order to make room for the $1.5 billion South Park deal. While South Park will make overt political jokes, they have still maintained an audience from both sides of the political spectrum.
