In this video I tell you how to fix the problem if the pedestal washer drawer gets jammed when you try to pull it out. I know it's their because I was watching as the washers were stacked and put together. There is a rectangular plastic cover under the main washer that you unscrew and remove to be able to gain access to opening and the lid.

WARNING: This is at least a 2 person job because in order to resolve the problem, it requires removing the main washer from the top of the pedestal washer to be able to gain access the access port to be able to relatch the lid.

A jammed drawer is usually caused by overloading the washer which can cause the latch on the lid to pop open causing the lid to be pushed up and getting caught on the lip of the frame when you try to pull the drawer out. The lock that engages when you start the washer only prevents you from being able to pull the drawer out while the washer is in operation. It won't prevent the latch on the lid from popping if you overload the washer.

Disclaimer: This video is for demonstration purposes only. I assume no responsibility for any damage or injuries that may occur because lifting the main washer off and putting back on the pedestal washer is at least a 2 person job.
