Remote Control for the LG Sidekick Pedestal Washer-Date: 4/1/2021

This is a short video to show you the optional remote control that you can get for the LG Sidekick Pedestal washer. This remote does not come with the washer. You have to order it separately from LG. The link where you can order one is below. I bought it now because we all know how later on down the road things often get discontinued and I wanted to be able to have one for myself.

As you can see in the video, the remote allows you to turn the washer on and off and to start/pause a wash cycle with any of the main wash cycles. The only things you can control with the remote is if you want to add or remove the warm water option. You also can't start a "Tub Clean" cycle, add extra rinses or engage and disengage the child lock option. It also has a magnet in it so you can hang it on the side of your machines. It uses one of those flat round button style batteries to power it. The replacement number for the battery is: CR2025.

The remote sensor is on the right side of the control panel next to the extra rinse option.

This remote may seem like silly option. But it might be helpful for those who can't stay bent over for very long.
