"Ark" is, as you may imagine, a song about Noah and the ark. The story of Noah is found in the Bible in Genesis chapters 6-9.

THE ALBUM
I recently "rediscovered" this album, after almost *40 YEARS* since the last time I heard it. ArkAngel featured Kemper Crabb - an extremely talented musician as well as his wife providing additional vocals, and has other highly talented and innovative praise and motivational Christian music.

This album is now out of print, but there is an excellent digital version of it uploaded at archive.org, in lossless FLAC and other formats. As I understand it, it's OK to download and pass around now. Here is the link:

THE MESSAGE
This is a somber but also a VERY powerful song. I've never heard anything else quite like it.

At the end of the video, in case anybody was wondering what I said, it was "Get on board today. Jesus is the way."

As Jesus told us in Luke chapters 17 and 21, and Matthew 24, the end of the world will be like the days of Noah and Lot. The wicked mocked the righteous, and were completely oblivious to the fact that their wickedness had reached such a level that God was about to destroy them.

We know less about life in Noah's day from scripture, other than --
1) the earth being corrupt and filled with violence
2) mankind's wickedness being to the point that evil is all they ever thought about in their hearts
3) (*AHEM*) GENETIC CORRUPTION -- caused in this case by fallen angels procreating with women
4) that only one family of all mankind alive at that time was really even trying to walk with God.

The Bible tells us more about society in Lot's day, in Genesis 18-19, and also in Ezekiel 16 -- not as widely known even by preachers, but it's clearly stated there. Many believe there was only one specific type of immorality God judged Sodom for. You'll find out the rest of the story if you read Ezekiel 16.

Since the Bible warns of another worldwide judgement upon mankind at the end of the age and Jesus likens it to Noah's and Lot's days, you might ask yourself as you read these passages of scripture how close we are to how people lived in those days?

We are not promised a tomorrow.

We must repent of our wickedness and give our lives to Jesus Christ, which is what it means to call Him Lord. Jesus, the only begotten son of God and the only truly perfect sinless man that has ever walked the earth, shed his innocent blood to pay the penalty for your sins at the cross. But you must meet Him there, realizing that you, like all, have sinned and are worthy of eternal damnation. If you are truly sorry for your sins and truly ask God to forgive you and and become Lord of your life, then the same power of God that raised Jesus from the dead will fill and change your heart, and you will be born again. God will give you the power to walk with Him and live the life of a true Christian.

Follow and obey the Jesus Christ of the Bible. That may or may not be the same Jesus Christ you hear about on TV or in many churches. Ask God to help you find others who believe and obey ALL of the Bible. He will.
