FIRST TIME BACK ONSTAGE!

First, it was to beat TWO stage IV cancers, and that was four years long... But during those times, like in the hospital, days after surgery, there I am doing double bass drum rolls with my feet, just to check if I still 'got it'... and all the way through the years, I prayed, not knowing when, or even if I would be back onstage again... and then it came, slowly but surely, a local contact, another drummer, nice enough to accept my invitation to do a song with them LIVE, in concert, at Rand Park, in Keokuk, Iowa... Small but nice and appreciative crowd, there I go again, we didn't really have time to hash out what song I would play, but this was the one I chose, because of its simplicity... So, after getting rid of cancer(s), back onstage we go, when most 'doctors' and 'professionals' were saying i.e. 'dream on'... THIS is what MOTIVATION does...
